Description: The Opt2mise study1 demonstrated the efficacy and safety of pump therapy for type 2 diabetic patients, however, insulin pump therapy in type 2 is not widely practiced in most European countries.  In this workshop, two of the OpT2mise investigators will discuss their extensive experience on pump therapy on type 2 patients, and will draw upon case studies and personal insights to facilitate discussions around overcoming insulin refractoriness in type 2 patients by using the MiniMed™ 640G pump. This workshop is primarily intended for Healthcare Professionals who are working with type 2 patients, and who already have a first level of understanding or experience with insulin pump therapy.
